Irish Army to Equip Members with Basic Computer Skills
Ireland’s Defence Forces have launched an ECDL e-learning programme to ensure that members at home and abroad are equipped with basic computer skills. The first batch of soldiers to achieve ECDL certification were presented with their certificates last week.
A recent survey carried out by ICS Skills, the ECDL National Operator in Ireland, showed that 42 per cent of people studying ECDL in Ireland now fall into the 30-50 age bracket, as more and more people are seeking to upskill and retrain.
